1. Start With Your Guest Count , But Don't Stop There
The biggest mistake we see is assuming that a party with 50 invited guests automatically needs 50 seats around dining tables.
Sometimes it does.
Sometimes it absolutely does not.
The right setup depends on the type of event you are hosting.
For a sit down shower, dinner, wedding related event, or team dinner where everyone will eat at roughly the same time, you should generally plan on having a chair for every guest.
For a graduation party or open house style celebration, people usually arrive and leave throughout the day. Your guest list might say 75 people, but you may only have 35 or 40 people there at one time.
That changes the rental math considerably.
Think about the largest number of people who will realistically need a seat at the same time, not simply the number of invitations you sent.

For approximately 40 guests who will mostly be seated at once, you could start with:

Delivery pricing is higher because we are making two trips associated with your event: bringing the equipment to you and returning to collect it.
For many families, delivery is worth it simply because transporting 30, 40, or 50 folding chairs is not exactly how they want to start party weekend.
For smaller orders or customers with an appropriate vehicle, pickup can make a lot of sense.
7. Does Delivery Cost More Outside Albany?
It can.
The Capital Region covers a surprisingly large geographic area.
An event five minutes from Loudonville and an event well outside our regular route obviously require very different amounts of driving.
